DVD Drive will not close.

Hello! I installed Mac OS X on my PC and used the MultiBeast.
Everything worked fine. Only my DVD drive did not.
When I give the command to open, it opens quickly, with great force. But by closing time, he did not respond to command, and the engine's internal drive is spinning, forcing him out. If I push inside, it opens again.
When I restart the computer, it responds normally opens at the right speed close to my command, but it is only to boot the OS X that the problem returns.
Anyone have any solutions?

Olá! Instalei o Mac Os X no meu Pc e usei o MultiBeast.
Tudo funcionou bem. Somente meu drive de dvd que não.
Quando dou o comando para abrir, ele abre rápido, com muita força. Mas na hora de fechar, ele não responde ao comando, e o motor interno do drive fica girando, forçando ele para fora. Se eu empurro para dentro, ele abre novamente.
Quando reinicio o computador, ele responde normalmente, abre na velocidade certa a fecha ao meu comando, mas é só dar o boot no Os X que o problema volta.
Alguem tem alguma solução??
Eu tenho o drive de dvd da Asus Drw-2014l1t

I don't have a solution, but I certainly have the same problem!

Every few boots it opens and closes properly, but at other times I'm having the problem where it doesn't close at all, and the motor keeps spinning.

Any updates from anyone else with this drive?

edit: I notice that you also have an ASUS motherboard - coincidence?

In OS X, Apple only natively supports the optical drives in it's desktop Macs - Sony and Pioneer. Other drives cause installation and sleep/wake-up problems.

The tonymacx86 Recommend Builds (and Components) list the Sony drive. Others report good luck with the LG drives.
