Yes, you read that title correctly. I have Mavericks 10.9.5 installed and running sweetly on my Acer Aspire 4752 (see my thread on insanelymac). This ridiculous laptop has a locked-down BIOS that does not support GUID partitions to boot from the HDD. I tried everything in my power, and eventually formatted as MBR, patched the installer, and went with an MBR install.
I have been experimenting with Chromium OS (latest AMD64 nightly from ArnoldTheBat) and it is superb, all hardware works, and I can read OSX drive (will never write to it, as it corrupts journaled HFS Extended badly).
I can install Chromium OS to the hard drive with a simple shell command, but I want to dual-boot.
There are instructions here for a netbook multi-boot, and it seems to have some good advice.

Also some great advice on this forum -> http://www.tonymacx86.com/general-help/93017-dual-booting-hackintosh-linux.html
Remember, I have MBR formatted HFS+ Extended journaled drive (500GB) so resizing is going to be very troublesome, if it is even possible?!
I currently have Chromium OS on an 8GB flash drive, so I guess all I need is the same amount of space? It may be compressed on the stick... Could need a FAT32 transfer partition as well (meaning more than 4 partitions on MBR!)
Any help or advice gratefully accepted!
Cheers.
