Logitech QuickCam Vision Pro

I have a Logitech Vision Pro for Mac I got as a gift. It works great as a mic and camera without any additional drivers. It used to be available in the Apple Store, but they don't seem to have it anymore- probably because most Macs and iOS devices come with a camera and mic now.

(A 3rd party has jacked up the price to $189 on amazon, but the one I have is linked above for reference. )

However all of the newest ones say that they work on both Mac & PC.

Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920, 1080p Widescreen Video Calling and Recording

That's a welcome relief to the previous "Mac-only" ie "more expensive" accessories. I would assume that any of the newer Logitech webcams would also work just as well with Facetime, etc... If you have one, what do you use?

Was asking this question as well in a previous thread and took a plunge with the c920. Works flawlessly and OOB.

Great- thanks for the feedback!

I have several Logitech, all of them are full functional with OSX.
Just start from c210 (works with FaceTime, photo booth, etc) not HD but it works.
Need more performance? C310, C5xx etc, any new model just works.
Both on a mac and on hack.

Some issue with flash sites (proportional stretch), no issue with OSX and related app

PS I really appreciate your job.

Bye
