Has anyone been able to do a succesfull build WITHOUT a grafix card?
I keep getting Kernal panics after i install snow leopard, run the updates, and run multiBeast (with the proper DSDT)

tried everything i can think off... the only thing i can come up with is that its because i dont have a grafics card and am trying to use the HD300 graphics...

i7-2600k
GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3
NO GRAFICS CARD
750GB hard drive 7200RPM
4GB RAM 1600mgz

com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowermanagement (90.0.0)@0xffffff7f8065a000->0xffffff7f8061fff
that is what i get when it crashes.. can anyone point me in the right direction? has anyone made their build work without having to be a grafix card?
Thanks!

I think if you use the update helper utility and read this

http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/07/ ... -1068.html

you maybe able to get some "basic" graphics on you system but really the best thing is to get the 10.7.4 OSX as a file or from the Apple USB and follow this

http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/10/ ... using.html

of course to get the USB stick to be ready for 10.7 you will need and operational Mac or a Hack to do some of the work on.

If you are unfamiliar w the internal workings of the Mackintosh world I found the following web

sites and videos helpful.

But before you do this please look for some YOUtube vids under the name deanwrayUK
of these shortcuts.

Please perform a Google search for this
" How to use Multibeast: a comprehensive guide of Multibeast options " - remove quotes
you will see several links related to Multibeast that will help you with this utility.

Something usefull about command line switchs one needs to know !

MAC is not worth using without a dedicated graphics card IMO. YMMV with newer integrated chipsets.

Thanks guys! i guess i'll go to my friends place today and DL Lion... Or.. should i just wait for Mt. Lion?

It boils down to: Can you wait 10 days?

you need to answer this question - is the experience of 10.8 worth the hassle of being a beta tester as a very limited number of us here at TonyMacX86 have seen or worked w 10.8
:banghead:

But we do have a lot of knowledge on 10.7

its your call.
