Hi, I'm trying to install Mavericks on my PC, but I get a black screen when booting from USB with Unibeast. After booting from USB, the apple logo displays and after a while the screen turns black. Turned off at all. Using Verbose Mode I can see "bootcachecontrol unable to open /var/db/bootcache.playlist 2 no such file or directory", but it's not last line: A LOT of SMC ERROR messages (or something like that) scroll down and then the black screen.
I tried the following args:

-v -f -x
USBBusFix=Yes -v -x
EnableGraphics=No
PCIRootUID=0 EnableGraphics=No IGPEnabler=No -v -x (In this one, the log screen just freezes and a :beachball: appears)

When BootControl error appears:

The SMC errors:

Try "IGPEnabler=No -x -v"

Also since you have nvidia, you probably will need to remove the nvidia kexts from /S/L/E on the USB (NVDA*, GeForce*).

Thanks for answering, I'll report back in a while.

IT WORKS!!

Thanks a lot. I fixed the SMC Errors, by making another USB with Unibeast.
Now, when I'm going install OS X, I go to disk utility and I try to delete one of the disk partitions, I get the error: mediakit reports not enough space on device for requested operation.
Yes, I patched my Unibeast USB to suport MBR.

Any Ideas?

Not recommended. Best to use GPT and unpatched installer.

But I want a dual-boot with Mavericks and Windows in the same Hard Drive.
--> any ideas for the not enough space on drive error??

I MUST use MBR because Windows is already installed.

Well, not really "must." You could always simply re-install Windows.

I have another option: re-format my HDD as GPT (deleting windows), and re-install OS X and Windows after that, as written in the guide. But do that wouldn't be useful if the not enough space on drive error is still there.

>>Any ideas?'

Follow the dual boot guide.

Follow the dual boot guide.

It's what I did. Writing from Hackintosh now!
Thanks
