I haven't been apart of the Hackintosh community for a while, but I want to give it a try on my laptop. Here are the specs and my situation. I want to use the laptop's internal display and the discrete NVIDIA graphics. I haven't even had a chance to install the MacOS... I know such a noob!

Dell Precision M6800 17"

RAM 8GB

Intel Core i7-4700MQ 2.4GHz - Haswell

RealTek

DW1550 Bluetooth 4.0 LE

SK hynix SH920 256GB SSD

PNY CS1311 240GV SSD

Intel HD Graphics 4600 - Haswell

NVIDIA Quadro K3100M

Dell Wireless 1550 802.11ac

Bios version A23

SMBIOS 2.7

BIOS set to Legacy

SATA set to ACHI

Secure Boot OFF

Virtualization OFF

TM Security OFF

Graphics Switching OFF - Set to discrete only

I have use the latest (3/23/2018) TonyMacx86 UniBeast to install High Sierra to my 8GB USB Flash Disk in EFI mode.

I can get to the Clover EFI boot screen.

I choose Install Mac OS High Sierra

CRASH

I add flag -v

CRASH - scrambles display

I add nv_disabled=1

CRASH - scrambles display

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html
The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"

So the great news is I was able to successfully install MacOS to my Dell M6800. I went through hell to get this trackpad to work, but it does... It just sucks because no multitouch support lol... Who cares, but I definitely want to be able to turn the brightness of my display up and down... it's on high and my eyes are burning... Night Shift helps a lot... but still.

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

I was able to install High Sierra on my laptop but now it only works with external display if I boot without nv=disable=1

Please see the problem reported files. Thank you so much.

You will probably need to inject EDID for the internal display to work.
