DEAD - sold the laptop

took that using system_info app on windows
or
check my signature for specs.

I had a nice system on my laptop until update to 10.7.4 from 10.7.3

But I was missing sleep,
brightness control,
fn keyboard (worked for voodooHDA audio F2 - F4, but not for brightness F5 and F6),
headphone audio,
and native power management.

I followed the easybeast guide for laptops for post installation.
graphics worked with the injector in multibeast for nvidia geforce gt 540m (picture above is misleading)
wireless worked ar9287 (no bluetooth, i think it is a 2-in-1 card) with a kext found at osx86.net

and the error I was stuck on after updating to 10.7.4 is something about "bluetoothhcicontroller"

===============================

Now I want a clean as can be install.

I looked through some guides but can't make heads or tails of the DSDT layout.

Whoever takes my dsdt (attached) and patches it for me with the features mentioned above and other required optimizations for use in OS X, then would you please take the time to explain what patches weren't needed because of the latest chimera version, 1.10

and if the patching person would so kindly point out what chimera boot options would be needed to avoid those patches.

please, any other info needed, do not hesitate to ask.

UPDATE: Got info on my bluetooth module. via Windows
USB\VID_0489&PID_E00F&REV_0596
Foxconn - T77H114
Chipset: BroadcomBCM2070
just followed the guide linked below to add my bluetooth ID's to my kext.
LINK > > > http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=353 < < < LINK

added below is a bluetooth kext with the device ID added for my module

look at 2nd post for update 2. kind of messy.

Re: help with DSDT for Sony Vaio f23jfx

2 day bump.

UPDATE 2:
new problem, I'm trying to move on without dsdt while I wait for response.
I am stuck at the no mouse or trackpad connected screen

and I can't add any USB mice or bluetooth, even though I added the device ID of my module into the bluetooth. and I tried PCIRootUID=0 and with value =1

any ideas? (this is probably a known issue and discussed before please lead me to right direction before flaming)

thanks everybody!

Re: help with DSDT for Sony Vaio f23jfx

1 day bump.

thanks guys, I know my problem is a very advanced one, so I will likely get little help. but I need to keep up the bumping, every day or so to let the seasoned hackintoshers see this.

Re: [HELP] DSDT (or other workaround) for Sony Vaio f23jfx

hi man!
i think my F23EFX has very little difference with your F23JFX. so your problem is like my problem.
i use Chameleon wizard to call my fixed DSDT, and a rom of nVidia GT-540m to fix graphicard, I tick "USB bus fix" to activate USB 2.0
i used Multibeast 4.5.2 to active USB 3.0 sucessfully

in somedays, i am trying to fix auto brighness or manual brighness, projector out

sorry for my bad english

where did you get the nVidia rom? and where did you "tick 'USB bus fix'"?

if you use 10.7.4 or higher you migh not use nVidia rom, but if you use lower version, you should use Chamleon wizard http://www.mediafire.com/?k6k0hie8iqx7cuu to fix both USB and graphic card problem

STEP 1 Follow this
7417788014_c36fc1fffc_b.jpg

STEP 2
-copy this file nvidia.rom file to Extra folder http://www.mediafire.com/?coabtomvsu9szco

-Open org.chameleon.Boot.plist and add this code
Code:
<key>VideoRom</key>
	<string>/Extra/nvidia.rom</string>
ok MacOS can now uses GT-540m!

Re: [HELP] DSDT (or other workaround) for Sony Vaio f23jfx

I happen to have a wifi/bluetooth module 2-in-1. I found a kext on osx86.net

http://www.osx86.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=2274

but using it causes me to get

"Still waiting for root device"
appearing after hanging too long, waiting for bluetooth to enumerate.

Re: [HELP] DSDT (or other workaround) for Sony Vaio f23jfx

this is my solution, use this tool to fix brightness http://www.mediafire.com/?91ikugoy9d8671u

if you install MacOs with USB 3.0 ports, the display "Still waiting for root device" will appear!
I use my DSDT, the bluetooth work well!

what problems do you have about installing MacOs?
