Computer auto restarts when "shut down" selected

I'm running a 3570k on a giga ud5h... everything runs pretty smoothly but when i tell the computer to shut down, it just turns it self back on. any ideas?

I'm having the same problem. I think it has something to do with the USB because if I turn off mouse and keyboard after I click shutdown it shuts down properly. However when I leave the mouse and keyboard on the system reboots after shutdown. Anybody got any ideas?

Go to Bios setting,

I forgot which one it is under. ( I cant look now as I am work ) but look the the one that says ... Pme wake up... simalr to that wording, Default settign is set to enable. Change it to disable save and reboot.

I believe I solved this problem by turning the "allow LAN to wake computer" to Disabled. Not sure what exactly the sentence was as I am not at my computer at the moment but I know it was under power management. I have only tested it about 3 times but so far so good.
