Hi all, I have started getting regular, but not predictable hangs in the e1000 (hnak) driver since upgrading to 10.8.5 and Multibeast 5.5.0 and 5.5.1, and 5.5.2. The symptom is that no packets are received or sent.
I have the Q77M-D2H motherboard, and am using only the onboard ethernet - the console message I am getting from the kernel is:
failed to getphysicalsegment in outputPacket
Which is a string only in the e1000 hnak driver - I also note that there have been several updates in the e1000 driver over the 5.5.* development process.
This doesn't appear to be load related, and cannot be cured except by shutdown and restart of the system (reboot).
Has anyone else noticed similar problems? Is there a known cure/workaround?
Cheers!
