Well then I thank you for helping me this far!!

Now .. after reading some of your comments in other posts .. it is clear that we agree about
"learning how to fish" policy ..
and on that note .. could you point me on what it is I need to read to understand
how to program dsdt and its workings ?
if you can point me to a step 1 book/article and give a clue about what's step 2 ... I think might be able to take it from there

Hi.

I hate to thread hijack. But I was hoping rehabman or anyone could help me with my project I have been working on..

I am stuffing a laptop mb and custom psu setup into an old Imac g5 case. I just got the monitor and everything working! so far all is great.

But I reallllly need to get sleep working and Im trying to patch my dsdt...

I am running 10.6.3

its a older hp laptop dv7 -1175nr
