Broadwell i5-5675C + Intel GFX (Iris Pro 6200)

I now got my system up and running - Bluetooth needed a little help.
I had to change from 16.2 to 14.2 system definition, and my hack is recognised anyways - however, even though it looks good in system information, I do not seem to have acceleration.

Are there any pointers to guides? My OpenCL score is less than 8000 - and should be much better, shouldn't it?
Thanks!
Rudolf

Much less than 8000:
LuxMark_v3.1/HD 6200/3375
Thanks Toleda,
I specified my GeekBench OpenCL score.

With Lexmark I don't even get 1000 (just GPU) and less than 2500 together with my i5.

I think that was better with Sierra.
I did not notice at first, but when even iTunes visualisations were slow and were not fluent any more, I got suspicious...
I fear it has to do with me having to switch from 16.2 to 14.2 system definition. With 16.2 I cannot boot without panic any more.
I am by the way still using the serial number I was using with 16.2 - that might be a problemIs that the reason why it thinks it is late 2015? That should be 16.2, not 14.2 - right?

Would you have any pointers to where I could look - or should I post all the debugging stuff people ask for elsewhere?

Cheers,

Rudolf

Hi Toleda,

Not available with the free version
I used the trial version for now...

don't understand, my processor is a series 5: i5675c with Iris pro 6200.

iMac 15 had a series 4 processor. As far as I can see (after quickly looking over the linked page), it also states iMac 16 there for my Broadwell processor?
According to my knowledge, iMac 16.2 is the closest thing to my hack with internal Iris pro 6200 graphics and a series 5 processor. It used to work up to Sierra with acceleration.

I guess I will try whatevergreen next...

Thanks,
Rudolf

My mistake, link shows 5xxx/imac16; 16.1 or 16.2 are fine
used to work up to Sierra with acceleration
My i5-5675C is working through Mojave, no kext required.

Post to the linked PM thread with requested Problem Reporting files attached

Thanks Toleda,
I just tried Whatevergreen and am back to accelerated graphics.

Question about your i5-5675C: are you using just internal graphics?
What system definition are you using?

Thanks and best wishes!

With 10.14.3 I can go back to 16,2 without panics when booting etc.
New problem: my system reboots spontaneously when running Luxmark.
Happened twice with 14,2 system definition and once with 16,2.
It once did get through the ball, yielding a good score.
Any ideas what could be causing the reboots? Overheating?
What can I do against that?
Thanks,
Rudolf

Confirm Luxmark, latest release
Intel Power Gadget shows temps. Exceeding thermal limits results in reduced performance, not KPs

Thanks Toleda,
3.1 should be the latest, right? Do you confirm, or should I?
No KP - it just spontaneously reboots...
No CrashReports...
