Boot Problem: Still waiting for Root-Device

I've got the common "Still waiting for Root-Device"-Problem...
I googled and googled and googled...And I found many solution-suggestions!
I tried them out (for example the boot-parameters "rd=disk0, 1...) and...Nothing.
No of them works...
I hope you can give me a few checked solutions, which work.

There have been numerous posts from people with Medion systems that were unsuccessful.

You need to see if in the BIOS you can configure the SATA controller in AHCI or Enhanced Mode. If you can't then you won't be able to install.

Ok, thanks, but in fact, my SL doesn't run on my medion machine..yet!
I've installed SL on my old PC.
But I will try, to configure.
