I have a 5770 that's VESA modes are all 4:3. The other day I went into Windows and successfully edited my VBIOS to add a 1920x1080 option (it shows up as one of the modes in chimera now). I also added "Graphics Mode=1920x1080x32" to my boot.plist, made sure my theme background was 1080p, and edited the theme info.plist to make the theme resolution 1920x1080x32. However, when I boot up, I still have black borders around the Chimera and Apple logo screens. I'm using an ASUS VH236H 23" 1080p monitor. Why am I still getting the bars? When I boot on HD3000 (which natively supports 1080p VESA), it looks perfect, with no bars or stretching. So it can't be the monitor.

Any ideas? My hack would look so much more legit if it booted like a real mac.
