BCM94352Z Weird Problem on both Windows & Mac

I think you have a hardware problem.

It was indeed a hardware problem.

On the Intel card the black(main) and white(aux) cables are very close and both on the right of the card.

On the BCM the white cable need to be connected on a connector that's on the left side of the card. My white cable is very short and it caused the pin to touch the screw that holds the card in place.

I've put a tissue between the screw and the cable pin and it works, both mac and windows.

I opened the case again to make sure the tissue is tight (big mistake) and then it started to do the same thing again, connect to just 5Ghz network.

So I said screw it (he he) and disconnected the white cable (aux). It works again without any problems.

My questions:

1. Can this lead to any trouble ?
2. Can I plug the white cable in the main pin and the black in the aux (since the black cable is much longer) ? I heard people saying that it doesn't really matter.

@iPlayGuitar
I been trying to get a hold of you.

I have the same Lenovo 4k as you and I'm have some problems.

What ig-platform-id did you end up using?
could you send me your EFI folder?
it would really help me out.
let me know.
