I am on an HP ZBook 14 G1 with a Broadwell CPU.
I followed this guide for the USB: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/
Before this I had El Capitan installed and running well, and I decided that since a lot of applications are having compatibility issues with 10.11, that I should update to Catalina. I haven't erased the ssd that I had it installed on, so if possible I'd like to keep it that way. If possible.

I first had the apfs module freeze problem which I was able to resolve using this: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ojave-stuck-at-apfs_module_start-1683.284979/
And then the installer booted and ran perfectly well. After the two times it restarted back into the installer, I got to where I am now.
I keep on getting the "attempting system restart............................" and then the computer restarting every time.
I have a video linked that shows the problem, and the EFI will be linked as well.
Sorry for the video quality not being that good, however using my phone rather than the camera I had wouldn't keep it in focus when all the text gets displayed.

Your EFi is a mess, you have oc drivers installed, also your config.plist is wrong admitted that you’re running under broadwell.(you’re not, your CPU is 1gen younger)
Please take one from rehabman repo and tweak it.
In SSDT I can see SSDT-EC it should not be here ‘cause you can patch your own EC by clover hot patch.
Be sure that everything is as per guide, or find ones updated for your laptop.
And read FAQs.

Changing the config.plist to one that should work with Haswell (also sorry about that) gave me a new problem (248/256 slide values available) that when I searched led me to posts saying that clover isn't updated to work with the most recent version of Catalina. I'm not sure if this is true or not, however I guess I'll have to wait if I want to use Catalina. In the meantime I'm going to try Mojave following the same first guide and hopefully it'll work. If it does then I'll just skip Catalina and not deal with it.
Also sorry for my lack of experience. This is was my first and only hackintosh, so since the guide wasn't specifically for my laptop I ran into this issue while El Capitan was for my laptop.
