ASUS X299 Monterey/Ventura Support

@djlild7hina

According to your experience, which are the most suitable Sage pcie slots for connecting a bluetooth Wi-Fi network card?
Thank you!

I typically connected it into the 7th slot or used an M.2 adapter.

Z690 ASUS Pro Art with 12700k seems like a good combination
I’ve tried hacking my Z690 Extreme/12900k and it worked well but I use that as a gaming rig.
Thanks Hina for the help in letting me know that. By the way, I'm curious about a couple of things:

1) How much faster is that setup you have over my current system?
2) Is the 12900K the fastest CPU? Or is there a faster one?
3) Will this work continue to work with Ventura (as it seems to work with some Intel based systems).
4) Is apple completely phasing out any compatibility with intel systems?

Answer whatever you can. Thanks again.

What Lorengrin quoted above. I just tried to see if it worked as I had no interest in using it as a hack.
I guess the 12900ks is faster but in the fall both Intel and AMD have new CPUs coming out.
Yes Z690 and X299 already work with Ventura.
I assume they will just a matter of when

i had to return my aorus X299X master for repair now i have this bug with X299 aorus gaming 3 any idea i just swap efi. Virtual SMC is in the kext
can you share your EFI?

here screenshots from bios. I prefer update from mojave but nor sure it is possible. Clean install is also way to go
What I would modify from your setting is :
- Security Device Support ➧ Disabled
- Why onboard audio is disabled ? do you have another audio device ?
- Load Optimised CPU OC setting ➧ Off ( for macOS installation )

- Do you have CSM disabled also ?

Thank you for providing this. Well according to my current scores, there's not much of a difference. If I'm mistaken on this, let me know. Thanks.

This can be useful for you to test your processor and compare it with others.
