Hi I am having problems installing on this motherboard for a friend.

Motheboard:asus p5q3
Graphics GeForce 8800 GT 512MB
CPU=Intel® Core™2 Quad Processor Q6600


I used Unibeast to make a usb booter with yosemite and didnt select legacy or laptop

I then booted to this using and used flags : -f -v npci=0x2000 GraphisEnabler=YES PCIRootUID=1 manged to install yosemite

Then when i rebooted i cannot boot into my hdd copy of yosemite or back into the usb, i have tried using the flags but i get the grey screen with the apple logo then the screen just goes blank. I remember when i installed yosemite from the usb i saw the whole screen was geray with the apple logo in the middle. Now i see a samller grey screen with a black edge as if the resolution is wrong. Please help im stuck and a bit of a noob!

I managed to get it to boot using

-f -v GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=0

Hi i have everything owrking but onboard WIFI i used the kext rt2870usbwirelessdriver.kext and wifi shows in system report but i cannot access wifi in prefferences - netowrk. I have attached screen shots of kexts, multibeats setting etc any help much appreciated.

Your WiFi is not yet detected. If it is detected it will show the Interface details as shown below,

Connect monitor to DVI/DHMI port without converters. VGA not supported on Yosemite.

Then try booting with "dart=0 PCIRootUID=1 nv_disable=1 -f -x -v"
