The Asus Hyper m.2 16X v2 (as well as others) only work in a few configurations and it all depends on what configuration you have in your system/bios
You need a Motherboard with PCIE Biforcation to start with.
look into your MB Manual and look at how your PCIE ports work and what you can/can't do.
For example the ASUS TUF Z390 can only put 3 drives in ports 1,3 & 4 (HYPER PORTS) and only in the PCIE16X_1
that means you cannot put the ASUS hyper cart in the PCIE16X_2, and when using the first port the second one works only at 8X (or 4X cannot remember)
I have mine working just fine with 3/4TB drives in the aforementioned configuration.
So look at your MB manual and then look at this table to see if it will work
Found this guide very interesting and was wondering if it can be adapted to Opencore for use with a Highpoint raid card? Thinking the reason my Highpoint raid card isn't being recognized is that I haven't detailed it out in my SSDT or DSDT. Can anyone help or advise please?
Thank you
