One thing that I notice is that in my Yosemite install is that the cpu/gpu gets quite hot in normal usage..

Thanks. Actually, the issue is with the gpu power management. Its a dedicated gtx670m (fermi based), no optimus.

Messing with agpm.kext gives some sort of power management, but it is lost after wake from computer or screen sleep.

You should verify CPU PM is implemented correctly. Use search to find info on GPU PM (probably requires ACPI renames).

Hello, I'm sorry for the delay. I did not see your answer but come on:

I do not use any custom kext and my SMBIOS is: MacBookPro10,1 - indicated for this notebook and generated with the configurator clover. Works all USB ports only enable the bios AUTO and enter the patched dsdt. Here I use the clover and works all 4 doors thanks to artur-pt
