AR9285 802.11n problem

Your ioreg shows the device-id injection is correct, but there is no driver attached. Probably the driver is failing to load. I can't tell if it is not loading because of something particular in 10.7.0 IO80211Family.kext or something that 10.7.0 kext does not like loading on 10.7.4.

It is not a good idea to mix system components from multiple versions of OS X. That is not how I would approach it. If you plan to run 10.7.4, you should run vanilla IO80211Family.kext from 10.7.4.

Hi guys. I am relatively new in this area which is why I need your help. Here are the details of my problem: I recently bought a HP4540S (i5, HD4000). I installed version 10.9. All going ok except for the wireless card. This is Ralink and may not be used, I understand this. Today I came into possession of a wireless card AR9285 (AR5B95). Please tell me step by step what I need and what to do!!
I saw this https://github.com/toleda/airport_pcie-hm but I did not understand much. I also read many of your posts ... but I'm still a beginner.

If you use the latest Probook Installer (should be), then it will just work, either via the DSDT patch for 9285 included and optionally applied or by the always installed ProbookARPT.kext.
 
Thank you RehabMan! Fresh install, then the latest Probook Installer, patch for 9285 and now I have wireless!
...but I have a little problem. NO Webcam...What to do?
