I wanted to chime in and say that this kext still works on 10.10 Yosemite Final. I used this kext to identify my GTX 670 which solved all of my sleep/wake issues.
I get sleep wake issue on my MacPro 4.1 upgraded to 5.1 since I'm using my GTX670 DCII 4g with a 4k monitoring via display port. I didn't have that issue using DVI connection on on lower resolution.
When the problem occurs, the machine either freezes or the screen show square artefacts of a now puzzled desktop. I'm using web driver form nvidia to get full resolution, On 10.8.5 it is directly available in the system preferences, In 10.11.4 I only get 3200/1800, I have to use quickres to get 3840/2120 but it seems less sharp.
I tried to monitor GPU temperature with HWmonitor, but it only shows 85°c static, on both OSs.
The card is put under not much stress as i was only web browsing when doing the tests.
Could that help or is this only gonna work on a Hackintosh solution?
