App Store Failure to Download OS X Full Installer

Update from 10.10.3 to 10.10.4 went flawlessly, and the updated OS works fine. However, on the App Store Mac OS X page, an option is offered to press "Continue" if a download of the full installer (in addition to the update) is desired. This did not work for me; 2 hours of waiting on the rotating gear to actually download something ended in closing the page. Without that file my USB drive cannot be updated to 10.10.4. :

You need to delete all other Yosemite Installer.app from any of your other partition's root folder.

if you happened to have this, then app store's gear box will rotate forever.

Cannot find "OS Installer," or "Yosemite (anything)" anywhere. Do you have an exact filename to look for, and maybe a hint where it might be (other than root)?
