ALC889HDA on Gigabyte GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3 (not working)

Appreciate any help, it's the only problem I have. Doesn't need to be HDMI cable, just from the Green output to TV monitor.

Attach a copy of IOReg.

Reinstall the dsdt from the database (the edited dsdt is not correct). Reply with 889 onboard audio status (green port working, y/n) and a new IOReg (the whole file).

well, you're not the only one - did update to 10.7.4 and lost my Audio.

Everything else working fine.

Any progress? I have tried everything I can think of and still cant even see a playback device.

Working:
Running Multibeast, fixing permissions and selecting JUST the patched AppleHDA worked...

but only after deleting all of the HDAEnablers. Hope it works for you.

Should have thought to remove them earlier after all the failed attempts, but it's working now... fully.

I upgraded the firmware to the latest, being F13, didn't solve it

So attached is my latest IOReg file

Hmm should I just try the AppleHDA on its own then? Will give it a go

you don't have to do any rollbacks or whatever. Just use the patched AppleHDA by Toleda in Multibeast 4.5.1 with a DSDT from database (along with SSDT from BS) in your /Extra folder. Repair permissions and run Kext Wizard for repairing permissions and generating new mkext. I've got the same mobo but I use alc889 and NOT alc889a codec!

dsdt has been edited. It has the 3 port audio id. IOReg shows audio is working.
