Evening all,

I'm about to pull the trigger. Here are the details:

Will be used for: gaming, programming, video editing/conversion, photo editing

Specs:
Corsair Hydro Series H80 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler (CWCH80)
Seagate ST2000DM001 Barracuda 7200RPM 2 TB SATA 6 GB/s NCQ 64 MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive
Corsair Enthusiast Series 650-Watt 80 Plus Bronze Certified Power Supply Compatible with Intel Core i3, i5, i7 and AMD platforms - CMPSU-650TXV2
Corsair Memory Vengeance 16 Dual Channel Kit DDR3 1600 MHz 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9 -
Corsair CC600TWM-WHT Special Edition Graphite Series 600T Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case - White -
Intel Core i7-2700K 3.5 GHz LGA 1155 Processor BX80623I72700K -
(GPU - ATI5770)

THE QUESTION - Which mobo?

Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H
http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Intel-11 ... 007R21JWC/

OR

Gigabyte Intel Z68 ATX DDR3 2133 LGA 1155 Motherboards GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3

Based on what I've read, I don't expect any problems with installation on either.

Any insight is greatly appreciated!

Best,

Jason

I have used the GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 and must say it's an all-around excellent motherboard with great support for OSX. In regards to the GA-Z77-DS3H, this is the board I am going to be using on my next Hackintosh build soon. It's cheap, has the Z77 chipset, and also has excellent OSX support. I can't really make a recommendation since I haven't used both, but I would go for the new Z77 one. On a side note... Why are you using the i7 2700k instead of the 2600k? The 2700k is the same processor, just binned higher. You can get every bit as much performance out of the 2600k as the 2700k for less $$$.
