Hello Everyone,

Just wanted some input for guidance.
This is what I had in mind: Antec 300 Case, Corsair 650TX Power Supply, Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R, Intel Core i7-950, Corsair XMS3 12GB DDR3 SDRAM 1600, Samsung Spinpoint 1TB HD103SJ, OCZSSD2-1VTX60G? SSD, EVGA 012-P3-1470-AR GeForce GTX 470 (Fermi) and then my cd/dvd and blue ray, haven't decided yet, and other touches to finish up. Any input would be greatly appreciated, I have one item on mind: should I upgrade my power supply to 850? Thanks

If you plan on overclocking, then yes do upgrade to an 850W PSU. You'll want as much juice as you can get when you crank up those voltages. As for the rest of the components, they look good to me. :)

no no a 650w psu is more then a enough!
you can easly run a i7 at 4ghz and a 470 with that, two 470's if you dont clock!

I had a 700W and it was making me reboot a lot, but maybe that was because it was a factory reconditioned model (refurb) that my friend convinced me to get. I now have a brand new StealthXStream2 from OCZ and it runs great. Also 700W. I'd say if you want to run more than one GPU or OC your CPU and be safe, go 700W or more.... but that's just me.

Thanks for the inputs, I don't plan over clocking my system, this buildup should be plenty sufficient for my needs.
