First time trying to build a hackintosh, hitting a wall with a kernel panic, but my knowledge of the problem stops there. Debug info included as attachment.

Specs:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK, mATX board, H67 chip, Realtek ALC662 audio and Realtek RTL8111 NIC and I suppose the GPU is in the single PCIe slot. Should be possible to install. What is the BIOS like? Can you find screens to set the SATA Mode to AHCI, enable HPET and set the HPET to 64 bit? These are the basic settings after you set select set optimum default to begin with. Since this is an OEM board the BIOS may be heavily modified by Acer and some settings may not be available. One of the hazards of trying to install on OEM prebuilt and OS loaded computers.

Alright so I was looking through the BIOS, I can change the SATA mode to AHCI, but i couldn't find anything for enabling or changing the HPET settings. I can provide images of the bios screens if that would help.

On the old AMI BIOS HPET was usually on the power management screen where you also set ACPI sleep to SS3

Sorry about the late response, checked through the power tab in the BIOS, no HPET settings.

try booting with -x and delete AppleHPET.kext but make sure to back it up just in case

Alright this is a noobish question but how would i go about backing up or deleting that kext, when I use Iboot and boot the install disk with -x the screen goes black for about a minute or so before I get the "computer needs to restart" screen.
