5 second error started as soon as I add a drive for windows
unplugged Win drive and error stopped
plugged in windows drive and first boot hang but fine after that but still have 5 second error
May be helpful in finding a fix
Hey all. I'm using a Ralink usb wireless adapter that adds a fugly icon to the menu bar for the wireless utility. I found a replacement icon surfing around that resembles the airport icon, it's black & looks a little better. Any idea where I can find the actual airport menu bar icon?

I had a similar problem with this card even tho the only thing that sleeps is my monitor but this setting seems to have corrected for me...
click Wifi, then advanced. Click TCP/IP and change Configure IPv6 to Link-local only

for me easiest fix was dsdt auto patcher with fix for internal drives appearing as external. same patch also corrects dvd player with no need for addl kexts, edits, etc
