I have pretty much the same build and the same problem so i wanted to ask you if you can elaborate on how to do this? all i see is modules and themes folder, and org.chameleon.Boot.plist and a smbios.plist file. What should i choose if i have 8gb of ram (two sticks of 4). oh i guess i should...
Did you find a solution? i have the same motherboard Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP5-TH and also cant f12 (or any key for that matter) during boot. which also means that i cant boot into the windows 7 partition. though it works every once and while. so frustrating.
So weird as i dont see it under the BIOS section and i am using the "F4 version" (latest version as of now) of the H87n-wifi motherboard. So all it says is "VT-d?" is it under some submenu under bios?
thanks buddy
please let me know how you fixed this as i have spent 3 days digging through this site and can't fix my similar issues. what were your multi beast settings for 4600 integrated graphics? thanks in advance!
i have a similar setup as lunaoso but using integrated graphics. i get a hang on the bluetooth as well... cant get past the apple screen. boot flags are not helping. but my main question is How To Disable VT-d? i do not see it anywhere in the bios though everyone else seems to find it just fine...
Could someone lend a hand as I am stumped! I can't get passed the apple logo screen in order to run multibeast!
I have basically the November 2013 customac mini setup including
GA-H87N-wifi
I3-4330 lga 1150
8gb Ram 2x4gb sticks of recommended vengeance
120 gb SSD Kingston v300...
I can't say much for the mac pro case as i have not used one, but i do know that when i built my hackintosh out of an early G5 case (dual 2.0), that I was able to make use of 2 important g5 mod resources. mountain mod motherboard tray (which i think they actually make one for the mac pro case...
you got it. i also read this trick along others saying that imac 12,2 is the way to go, so i switched back to this. I also read all 47posts in "alfa's up5 success" thread yesterday at http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-lion-desktop-guides/62127-success-gigabyte-ga-z77x-up5-th-thunderbolt.html...
i just applied the mac mini system definition under multibeast and it seems to be sleeping and waking just fine. does anyone know if the mini system definition affects or slows anything else? i ran geekbench again and saw only a 100 pt loss but then again i am not too savy with geekbench...
have the same strange issue. i am updated to f9. I currently do not have a system destination as I didn't know we needed one as it automatically defaulted to Mac pro. anyway which system def works best for us for this sleep issue?
on a side note do have a scrambled bios screen as well unless...
i have a feeling its not corrupt because its perfectly fine when connected with the (dvi to vga) adapter that connect to my old vga monitor. right? are there not any other settings in bios or multibeast that i could test? i would rather not dig out my vga monitor (with dvi to vga adapter) every...
here is how i am seeing the bios area when dvi is connected and even though you can make out drive options to boot from they are selectable. however if i toss on an vga adapter then all is fine.
first off i am having no trouble booting ML and using dual monitors with my 660 ti. but when want to get to the bios or boot into windows, my bios becomes visually scrambled.
this is my first build so i am still wrapping my head around how multibeast affects things.
i am a little confused...
Did anyone find out a way to solve this minor "sleep is still a white screen" issue? I too have the same annoying glitch on my UP5 TH. I dont even have a graphics card yet so still using HD 4000.
uhg. i guess i shouldnt have paid the extra cost for the UP5 TH a couple days ago and went with the UD5H. I was trying to future proof my motherboard but i guess not. so does this really affect me if i dont plan on booting windows? or are you saying that if windows doesnt play well then, in...
i am also in the 560ti, 570 or the new 650 market... and have similar needs to the original post. would you mind recommending an adequate alternative or explaining why the 560 would be over kill? thanks!
