I don't believe that on my system it has to do with ram. It was running into the same problems with 32gb as it was with 16. I can boot with either combination of ram.

Yeah, I got this kinda fixed by disabling my I7-4770k as a graphcis chip. It is faster but not Full Hardware Acceleration. Not certain what is causing yours, Especially if you don't have a graphcis card.
