Sorry I don't understand, remember I don't have a laptop, my 5700U is from a mini PC desktop. What are you trying to do exactly?.

255 g8 laptop with 5700u, after the hopefully temporary failure of the internal microphone, I wanted to enable graphics acceleration by also activating the screensever which gives me an error 15.

But, you already have Graphics acceleration enabled, your issue is not having the hidden gfx settings available in BIOS. You need the smokeless script to enable those settings in BIOS and increase VRAM.

an efi one works with a screen saver while mine doesn't, so I think it's a software thing
 
but does that hack also provide resolution for drm or has nothing to do with it?

No, your Webcam will be USB based and may be shown as a separate device under your Audio settings. This will usually be separate from the system Audio.

The Realtek ACL236 Audio codec is normally a separate device, which is related to the 'Internal Speakers' and Microphone if connected.

What does your System Information > Audio report show in respect of your Audio Devices?
What does your Audio/Sound icon display for audio devices?

As an example here are some screenshots showing the Audio Devices in my AMD desktop system.

As you can see the discrete Webcam on my system is shown as a separate device compared to the Internal Microphone, is yours detected in the same manner?

hi, but did you have all these problems with the desktop with the mobo tuf b550?
 
No, I didn’t have any problems with the Asus TUF Gaming B550 or B550M motherboards.

But I know what I am doing when it comes to selecting compatible components and then creating a working OpenCore EFI for those components.
 
because with the HP laptop I give up while as for the desktop, at least I would like to make it work
 
Desktop systems have always been easier to Hack, compared to laptops. Because they are not restricted to the components installed by the maker. Which desktop system do you have?

Provide details of the main components if you want help with Hacking it, i.e. CPU, Motherboard, GPU make and models.

You should start a new thread in the Installation forum, in the sub-forum for the version of macOS you plan to install. Give me a call-out in your fist post for the desktop system and we will see if I can provide any assistance.
