My last thread was deleted for discussing an alternate installer so I'm in the process of rebuilding the thread.

If you own another Clevo model notebook please start a new thread in the forum and help keep this thread relevant, clean and confusion-free.

Mountain Lion works. I upgraded from Lion and as far as I can tell hardware support is the same as Lion, if you had a device that did not work with Lion chances are it will not work in Mountain Lion either.

Power Management: Works with patching.
Sound: Works with VoodooHDA. See attachment.
USB3: Works with Lacie patched drivers, these are reported to cause stability issues.
LAN: Not working, jmicron chipset is rare and support is unlikely
WLAN: Intel is not working, keep an eye on project camphor. Realtek wlan is not working. You will need a USB dongle or OSX compatible wireless card to get online. I use an AR9285.
Fingerprint Reader: Working with software from AuthenTec AuthenTec Customer Support > Downloads > Mac > TrueSuite
Webcam: Partially working netkas.org » Using acer crystaleye webcam in facetime/photobooth/skype
Graphics: 460m expected to work. 560m working.
Sleep: issues resuming from sleep. let's call it not working for now.

Having problems installing lion!

Could you please post more info about the install process? Im stuck!

Not clevo but origin is clevo.. Its renamed pro2000 in my country.. my hardware configuration is same as yours... my other hardware is here: yavuzmamac.com/Report.htm

Now im succesfull to install lion with my method... ... i couldn't install mountain lion with unibeast.. im stuck on "unable to open bootcache.plist" error.. i tried many many many boot flags.. nothing changed...

Now on Lion my problems are:

1) Wireless card not supported... i must try another method, like usb wireless stick... i have one "Air Live" usb adapter.. it works on my original iMac... i will try on my pc lion version...

2) Sound problem... on install process alternatives not worked.. i am now working on it.

3) Fingerprint problem... 2MNY how could you fix it? Can you give some hot tricks for this and the other methods?

4) CMOS reset problems... i tried many patchs but i couldn't fixed it.. i gave up fighting and removed the cmos battery =(...

5) Sleep problems.. i couldn't wake up the system when sleeps... then i gave up again and make my battery power settings "never... never" =(...

So, 2MNY, we would be so glad if you share your fix process.. Thanks ...

@redcartoon, The majority of the issues you describe are covered in my first post. I will try and update this post soon with the specific sound kexts I use.

ok dude thank you... our hardware is so huge and powerfull... it deserves a succesfull OS X... i´`ll follow your posts and if possible i``ll be glad if you share also via mail... [email protected]... thx again

Finally got my P150HM working with AMD 6990M.
LVDS also recognized, had to install Duallink Fix under PEGP not GFX0
Also had to edit Framebuffer

Ipomoea

00080000 00020000 0001 0000 12 04 01 03 <-- HDMI
04000000 14020000 0001 0000 11 02 02 01 <-- DVI (not tested)

Now I only need to fix Audio over HDMI.

I tried to install VoodooHDA version 2.7.3 from official voodooHDA page.. ( a pkg file.. ) but it causes a loud beep sound and kernel panic with this.. i used to boot -x to install without drivers, i uninstalled voodooHDA kext then kernel panic ends..

FINGERPRINT: I tried to install truesuite drivers... i installed "TrueSuite 5 for MAC OS-X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) and 10.7 (aka Lion)" but it fails cause it asks for 10.7.3 but i have 10.7.2...

WIRELESS: I have an old wireless usb stick "Airlive WT2000 Turbo G" .. it works on my imac (on leopard it had worked well .. im now on mountain lion.. i didn't try it yet on mountain lion... I installed Wlan drivers from official Airlive site.. they give only panther and tiger versions... =) i know.. its time to change my usb stick with a working one...

ETHERNET: still not working.. not any useful solution for this...

CMOS RESET and SLEEP PROBLEMS ROLLING AROUND POWER MANAGEMENT: still in a black hole in cosmos =D ... if anyone finds a solution, please do not hesitate to call me 7/24 hours.. i'm serious...
