Gryphon Boot Issue

Im having a small issue with booting an Asus Gryphon.

CPU : 4770K (No overclock)
32Gb Ram
Samsung HD103SJ HDD

Installed 10.8.5 using normal Unitbeast method.

Whenever I boot the system, i see a brief flashing cursor at the top left and then it goes straight into the system bios.

If i boot from the uni usb stick, it boots the system fine.

Only thing I changed in the bios is to disable secure boot, set XMP profile 1 for my ram and disabled fast boot.

USB in the bios is set to enabled and auto (Not smart-auto).

IGP disabled and using GTX 650 Ti Boost.

Anyone else got this board and seen this behaviour ?

Yes, my Asus Q87M-E/CSM does the exact same thing. It boots from unibeast and installs fine. A little issues with MB and the bluetooth issue, even though I don't have bluetooth. I've read it's suppose to be a video issue, but both HD 4600 and GTX 650 give me the issue.

Post here if you find a solution.

I spent the whole weekend trying ti fix this based on a boot0 error, as it is the only error I've seen or heard of that prevents booting.

Nothing I've tried works. I have tried 4 different hard drives and SSDs.

Hopefully someone comes up with somethig soon. I can boot from USB, but it's very annoying.

I've heard of custom BIOSes for a lot of Asus boards. I hope that's not the case for me as I have an odd oard that no one will likely support.

Similar with asus h87-pro. Can load from ssd/hdd only with usb stick with Unibeast. I don't have bluetooth too.

I have the exact same problem. I can use the Unibeast USB to boot maverick just fine. But when I try to boot from ssd, it does the same thing. Is so freaking annoying and so frustating at the same time. But at least OS X for great after boot. I have change everything on the bios. nothing seems to work. I even change try changing settings with multibeast, but no luck.

I have:

ASUS SABERTOOTH z87
INTEL i7 4770k
Corsair Vengeance 16 GB
GTX 760 2gb
SAMSUNG 840 EVO SSD 250 gb

 
Sorry to revive an old(ish) thread, but having an identical problem (similar hardware: Gryphon, 4770K) and was wondering if you ever discovered a solution? Thanks!
