I thought the iMac has the 9280 (2 antenna connection). Better check properly before buying. Cannot imply there is backward compatibility just because it is a latter card.

As the other have said, get on ebay. Just a note. I tried the BCM4322 chip card (A Dell DW1502) minicard on the same PCI adaptor and it is not recognised automatically in 10.6.8. For the moment I would advise you to get the 4321 card. If you still want Ethernet, just get a TP-Link PCI Ethernet...
