The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer.

This works great until the disk numbers change. Sometimes my disk numbers change at random when I reboot. Is there a way to prevent that?

[Solved] Can't mount APFS EFI with diskutil

Update: it just requires sudo. This is on High Sierra 10.13.6. On Sierra it did not require sudo. I used to have a BetterTouchTool shortcut to run this, but now it's broken. sudo diskutil mount disk0s1

[Solved] Can't mount APFS EFI with diskutil

After reformatting my drive with APFS, I'm unable to mount the EFI partition with diskutil. It works with mount instead. Anyone know why? I've seen this happen on multiple computers with High Sierra, including a real mac. $ diskutil mount disk0s1 Volume on disk0s1 failed to mount If the...

    Broadcom WiFi/Bluetooth [Guide]

Oh I see. Sorry, I thought you were talking about Post #1 of this thread, which has a different group of requested "problem reporting" files. Well now after running gen_debug.sh, the Bluetooth is working. It also fixed one other weird issue I was having. At the macOS login screen, I was...

Please see my first post (#57), I already attached all the problem reporting files you requested.

    Broadcom WiFi/Bluetooth [Guide]

Okay, I didn't know /L/E is now the recommended location. I'm now using that. Thank you. I am using the latest version (2016-0705) from here: https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-brcmpatchram/downloads. I get the BrcmPatchRAM2 and BrcmFirmwareRepo from the same zip file, so I think they...

    Broadcom WiFi/Bluetooth [Guide]

I know, and I have BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext installed in /S/L/E using Kext Wizard.

    Broadcom WiFi/Bluetooth [Guide]

I have Wifi working, but no Bluetooth. Device is a BCM94352Z. It appears in System Profiler under USB, but not under Bluetooth. I have BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext in /S/L/E and BrcmPatchRAM2.kext in Clover. Running macOS 10.12.6. I see the following in the log; what does this mean? kernel: Kext...

Failed CLUT not a kext in System.log

I see the same thing, running macOS 10.12.6. Doesn't seem to be a problem, but I'm also curious what this means.

    Broadcom WiFi/Bluetooth [Guide]

Thanks for always keeping this up to date. The requirements you wrote above say 10.9 or newer, but the "I" subheading says 10.13+. Is that a typo? I used this successfully in 10.12.6 to get Wifi working with a BCM94352Z. But I'm curious, in Clover KextsToPatch, what is the difference between...

    Rocket 88 - i7-6950x & Gigabyte GA-X99-Designare EX - Sierra 10.12.2

I have this motherboard too. I didn't read your guide, but I read the working / not working part. The built-in wifi will probably never work, but there's a good Broadcom replacement chip available. Thunderbolt works, including TB3 and TB2, but you need to set it to Legacy mode and hotplug...

Mac OSX 10.12 with X99 Broadwell-E family and Haswell-E family

What version of ACPI did you use to compile this? It doesn't open for me in MaciASL. I decompiled it with command-line iasl and open that in MaciASL, but it gives compile errors. I use ACPI 4.0 for my motherboard. Could you share the original uncompiled code?

    Broadwell E - i7-6950X x99 - Working

The scores over 45000 are not real; they are caused by a clock speed bug in Clover with Broadwell-E, I think it was fixed around r3727. That same bug caused the system clock to run fast and audio to sound choppy.

Mac OSX 10.12 with X99 Broadwell-E family and Haswell-E family

This guide is quite vague, but I sort of followed parts of it. I use an SSDT to rename my primary GPU to GFX1 in order to work with the Mac Pro 6,1 SMBIOS. I think that's more "stock" than the AppleGraphicsControl patch.

Mac OSX 10.12 with X99 Broadwell-E family and Haswell-E family

I use a 980ti as primary, and a Titan Black as secondary GPU. I never patched AppleGraphicsControl, and I have no GPU-related problems on Sierra 10.12.2. I wonder why the AppleGraphicsControl patch is necessary for some.
