So I've running my custom mac for 4 years now (wow, time passes fast) and for the last year or so I've running Sierra no problemas at all since I bought a 1050ti so that I could have an straight forward configuration and use.

I boot he computer, then i put it to sleep, when I then wake it up, the glitch disappears and I get both screens working perfectly.
* Previous modifications on the config.plist are disabled because they didn't solve the problem.

So I finally grabbed myself one DVI to DVI cable, to test everything without adapters as you guys suggested. I connected my 1440p benq screen via DVI and my 1080p asus via hdmi. I first booted windows and everything worked perfectly, just...
I'll try to get one of those cables. In the meantime, is there anything else that I can try to solve the problem? I really think this is a software issue, since after I wake up from sleep the computer everything is completely fine, I just need it to boot both screens correctly.

Switching both monitors to the same resolution (in this case 1600x900 because the 1440p doesn't want to go to 1080p) rebooted and nothing changed.
