As expected...working flawlessly on a Z77-DS3H + 3770K build. Had to delete ACPI 3rdParty_SATA kext from System/Library/Extensions. Also, ALC887 and ethernet didn't work from MultiBeast 7. Used MB 6.5 to install ALC887 and ALXethernet 1.0.2 and all is working fine.
Installed on a Z87MX + 4790k...
That's so weird! I removed the battery and kept the computer from power for a day. I then cleared the cmos. I booted it up, and UEFI Bios FINALLY came up. I put my USB stick in, and it boots to chameleon. I select USB but verbose. It goes through the whole process of lines, then when it appears...
That's why I don't understand why this isn't working. I've read the first 15 pages of this thread and everyone seems to have used a 2500k or a 2600k with the HD3000 built in. I am wondering if it is because I'm running on a separate GPU instead of the one that comes with the Sandy Bridge chips.
Using a standard Acer LED monitor. It has a DVI and an HDMI port. The D3H-B3 board has an HDMI port, DVI, and VGA port. But I am using the GTX 480 as my video because the i5 2550K has video disabled.
Hey guys,
Hopefully someone can answer this question for me. I did the following method above. The mobo wrote and verified the flash until it said that I have to power off the computer and unplug it. I pressed the power button until it shut off. Then I unplugged the computer. Waited 5...
Tried to use a different nVidia card 8800GS to no avail. I am out of video cards. Other's posted methods about installing MB from a different partition. That didn't work either.
Using npci=0x2000 or PCIRootUID=0 did not work. It appears that the graphics card is the issue and others resolve...
Hey all,
Been reading all the different posts and trying different methods to get my Mountain Lion 10.8 to install. This is my 15th try and it is almost completed.
I've done a fresh install of ML because upgrading from my perfectly working 10.7.4 crashed my machine.
I used Unibeast...
Can anyone verify successfully updating to ML using a GA-P55-UD3L (bios F7, version 1.0) and a nVidia GTS250? I had it working in Lion no problem. I updated to ML, no sound...then used MB...fails at completion...used disk utility to fix permissions....reboot...and it Kernal panics on...
I just want to update about this...just in case there is someone else out there looking to use this board on Mac.
There are no DSDT's that I could find online. The one that was shared as a "base" just caused the computer to kernal panic.
If you follow the basic steps of installing OSX, it...
No you don't have to. Just download the combo update, let it run. It will overwrite your hackintosh files. Therefore, you will have to run Multibeast again and select the same settings you used to have 10.6.4 running. Then your back in business.
So the solution to this problem is a graphics card?
The description of the OP is EXACTLY my problem with this motherboard. I bought a retail disc of SL @ the Apple store. I can iBoot + install retail disc + Multibeast to have the computer booting up to 10.6.3. When I tried to update to the...
Did this ever work?
My setup:
Core i5 750
4Gb DDR 1066
500Gb SATA
EVGA GTS 250
I updated my P55-UD3L Rev.1.0 motherboard to the F7 version. I downloaded Tony's F7 DSDT.aml
I placed it onto my desktop, ran multibeast with user DSDT option. Installation progress was successful. I rebooted...
