Hi, If it were me, I would set the system to failsafe default change IDE to AHCI and remove the video card. If I put system to sleep, I can always wake it with a mouse click. Not sure if it goes to sleep on its own yet. Strip system to its basics. I'll let you know if my sleep is working...
