I've gone to the DSDT Database and found the right one for my motherboard and BIOS version, but I don't see anywhere on the page to download the DSDT file. I've just updated my old system from El Capitan to Sierra and am still learning, so please go easy on me. I feel a bit noonish right now...

I'm having this issue as well. I actually had some very crappy sound initially, but now have nothing since removing some of the kexts in my library and system folders. I have tried my best at following various tutorials on getting the sound working on Sierra. No luck. This has got me stumped.

Just got the IOGear dongle. Works well. I'll need to get a USB extension to improve the signal (my computer is in another room because of noise), but it did the trick. Sucks that Microsoft has limited OS X support for the Arc Surface mouse, but I'm not going to complain. Was tired of the scroll...

I think I understand what you're saying. Based on the hardware I have, the guy who sold me the Hackintosh recently likely used something like Clover to make it look like it was a MacPro6,1, when, in actual fact, it is an earlier model. More likely a MacPro4,1. I'm a very genuine person and love...
