Clover Booting Guide: Z77X-UD5H- HD4000+GT640

I was using the CSMVideoDxe-64.efi driver to have proper resolution. With newer revisions of Clover I started to have problems and would only get a black screen with CSM Enabled and the driver. UEFI flashing and CSM Disabled is the solution I guess. I am trying to flash my graphics card GT640 (does have a UEFI version) and I will also try a modded BIOS from tweak town. But I am trying to understand this whole process, I am confused just a bit (more reading to do).

Just to let u know that that there are 4 or 5 versions of f15r modded bioses for our board in tweak town thread.
i tryed them all and they work.

Important thing its not to change fast boot options becouse its bugged like hell,u can have things like cmos reset to default settings, freezes when detecting hdd-s,bios not saving changes or they change by self, and all those bugs are only here if u change fast boot settings.

To solve any of this bugs its not enough to just clearcmos,u will need to reflash bios again, and not touch FAST BOOT!!

DSDT have big changes from F14 to F15r,there are more SSDT tables etc...

Good luck.

Thanks for your help,

I won't be touching fast boot options.

I will post back with results.

I have no resolution issues as I added the CsmVideoDxe-64.efi driver to mine and fixes the GFX issue but I can't disable CSM as I have the Apple HD5870 not some UEFI GFX card.
With CsmVideoDxe-64.efi on HD4000, Clover/rEFIt boot hangs with black screen and blinking underline cursor upper left. No CSM option in BIOS.

I just tried disabling CSM and using the HD4000 with the CsmVideoDxe-64.efi driver and working great now. Had to add resolution to my refit.conf file and darkwake=10 to my boot-args to fix wake but now have fully working sleep :D

I am also booting UEFI though from my EFI partition, not sure if that make a difference.

I'm playing with Clover on my system (for now on a USB stick, not touching my SSD) and the problem I'm having is a white screen when I boot from Clover; I see the Clover graphical menu, but after I choose the option to boot from my SSD it appears to boot up OK but all I see is a white screen. I suspect I need to add something to Clover's config.plist (or perhaps refit.conf) to properly detect my graphics card, but I don't have a clue where to go from here. Can someone explain what I need to do (or point me to the right documentation)?

Here's my configuration:

Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 with U1c UEFI BIOS
Nvidia GT640 graphics card (I use GraphicsEnabler=no in Chimera)

Thanks in advance.

Edit: I have already tried adding CsmVideoDxe-64.efi to drivers64UEFI, but it made no difference - I still get just a white screen.
