well for me when i turn the screen on off its normal nothing happens. and also i can play videos and launch apps full screen and even go to sleep and wake also..

well i managed to make sleep/wake issue go away.. through installing a simple app.. called as "wake up time " thats available free in app store..

OK, i have tried the app "Wake up time".
my results.

Monitor goes to sleep, but when it wakes up i have a frozen desktop. Mouse Frozen, everything frozen. So nothing to fix with this app fro me.

We even did not need a tutorial, if he edited the kexts, or aijaz edited the kexts, then we simply need that kexts, taken from their systems, and as we have the same graphic cards, if we install those kexts it simply have to work. But I really doubt that aijaz or exoxfire would be putting the files available to us. Instead, they only will continue to claim that their systems are working excellently and showing videos for us to see without solving anything.



Reading you makes me think that we are two of a few survivors from a zombie apocalypse, and that the zombies now are spending their time writing on forums like this one.

here are the kext.. and also remember.. before installing anything from unibeast.. remove the respected kext from ur unibeast drive and then do a fresh install.. after that.. install this kext using kextbeast...

Note : delete the kext that i am sending ....

I have a nVidia GTS 450, so it's not the same Graphic card.

But I'm pretty sure that a solution would solve the problem for your graphic card model too.
I will test the kexts provided by aijaz and report back.

remember... sleep/wake doesnt work from the system.. secondly the third issue.. FREEZE.. u can use the graphic card too smoothly..and update ur apps to the latest version that supports mountain lion..

have a look at this site.. for compatibility provided by tonymac himself.This doesnt allow the apps to crash or anything freeze or vice versa..

I've skimmed through a lot of this thread and I didn't see anyone trying pure DSDT edits for enabling their GFX cards. In case anyone is wondering that doesn't work either. I have both the 550Ti and an older Quadro 3700 both enabled via DSDT and the 550Ti is definitely wonky. The 550Ti is going back tomorrow.

aijaz can you change your desktop resolution to non-default, such as 1600*900 or 1280*1024? Maybe it's not a problem for you, but does for me. So can give a video showing this to let me know your kexts could work for me?
