[Guide] Intel DH67xx with HD3000 using Clover UEFI hotpatch

I didn't know that wasn't written in the guide.

It is a basic BIOS configuration required even for Windows. I will try to make a note of it in the guide.

One thing I'm running BIOS version (0156) is it safe to update to (0160)?

I'm running latest.

I also had to change AppleHDA .xml.zl to .zml.zl No to Yes in order to get audio other than that everything is good :).

Then you did something else wrong (probably have installed a patched AppleHDA instead of using install_downloads.sh).

Thanks sweet. I haven't touched AppleHDA in S/L/E i just put the injector from your Fork. But had to do it manually by downloading from github then put it under my name JackBamford then used terminal to build it.

This guide does not use an injector.

Please follow the guide as written. Nothing more, nothing less.

I used AppleHDA_ALC892.kext which I've installed into L/E. I also tried AppleHDAHCD_892.kext but wouldn't work. AppleHDA_ALC892.kext would only work if i changed AppleHDA .xml.zl to .zml.zl No to Yes in config.plist which I've downloaded from your fork.

The kexts are built but not used/not installed. Refer to install_downloads.sh.

How is there meant to be sound without one of them installed? is there different kexts for audio then? I think its messed up because i firstly cloned the wrong fork.

It uses:
- .zml.zlib files in AppleHDA.kext/Contents/Resources
- Clover patches for the AppleHDA binary
- SSDT+CodecCommander.kext for pinconfig
- Other SSDTs for layout-id injection

Nothing else needed.
