No Sound - Realtek ALC AppleHDA [Guide]

El Capitan 10.11.5 / Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 / BIOS Ver. U1C / i7 2600k

Audio not working, It was working only on one boot when I used old ML multibeast 5.5.5 and chose ALC889 after restart it stopped working

I uploaded a picture of the old multibeast choice
In Yosemite+ML this ALC889 worked fine with my computer.

I did restore, The logs above are after i restored, I just mentioned that multibeast 5.5.5 alc889 kext worked so the problem might be identified faster.

Not recommended. Installed a useless kext; remove S/L/E/HDAEnabler1.kext.
Restart, attach new files including AppleHDA.kext

You've made me think again about it, and I've tested the rear once more and the mic in is working now. Thanks for helping me through the process.

I've got wifi working now too, so I think this is a GOLDEN build now!

Hi there

I am working on getting my audio issue fixed. I use an external audio interface through USB. OSX picks it up fine and sends audio to it.

Issue is, when i open a music production program such as logic, it will change the system audio output to 32000 from 42000 causing static and only left channel sound...

Is this a kext issue?
