Sorry, I mean, when I press a key (ex:FN+F8) that key doesn't generate any codes on console.app, eventhough I had enabled the ACPIdebug (and the instrument EC queries) and VoodooPS2Controller debug mode.

It could be your key is handled via other means, or you didn't patch ACPI correctly.

figured since my trackpad doesnt accept gestures, except scrolling up & down, it would be nice if I could get two finger gestures for "going back/forward" etc.
Everything my setup uses so far is from your ProBook Repo, RehabMan. So shall I follow the instructions on "how to install" and it should work, or is there anything I should look out for?

Two finger is for scrolling (up/down, left/right).

If you followed my ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook guide, this kext is already installed.

yes I did follow your ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook guide. So I probably already have the kext .. scroling up and down works but left/right does not

Two finger is for left/right scroll. It is not for "gong back/forward"...

ohh sorry, you are right.. On my iMac I've installed MagicPrefs, that is why my magic mouse uses two finger swipes (left/right) for back/forward. I forgot that it wasn't default. I'll try to install MagicPrefs to my hackbook, maybe this will do the trick?!

Unlikely.

Is there a way to add back/forward gestures? I followed the ProBook/EliteBook/Zbook Guide, so I have the kexts which are used inside that Guide. What else is needed

You can map three finger swipes to whatever function you like. Two finger actions are reserved for scrolling.

I looked inside my system pref ->keyboard -> shortcuts but I couldnt find any function that represents the "horizontal browsing", so that I could map a three finger swipe.
What the magic mouse on my iMac does is going back/forward by swiping over it, I would like to do that with the trackpad. At the moment i can scroll up and down using two fingers as well as left and right if the window is small. To go back and forth I press CMD + Arrowkey left or Arrowkey right, this is what I would like to map to three finger swipes.

And you were right about MagicPrefs, its not working on the hackbook, since it says I need a glas trackpad.
