Hi bolemo,

can you attach your config.plist and the kexts?

Thx

@BallsMcNadFrop: You are welcome.

@SammlerG: sure, here it is.

Some precisions: the min multiplier is x12 (processor specs, can't be changed in bios).
The base multiplier is x33, and with the OC, I put x38 for turbo (All Cores).

Quick question, what are your UEFI Bios settings for the overclock? anything special other then the above?

You are just plain awesome! Trying it tonight. Thanks again.

Edit - Ok so I tried the setup. Reverted back to NullPower Management, etc. Now the CPU is refusing to go anywhere higher then 3.3 GHZ, however as you can see it is maxing out and running even at 3.3 so thats a good thing. I just don't know how to get it to OC now. (this is the same problem I was having before -xcpm) see enclosed powermangement graphs. Any ideas?

Hello,

Looks like your Turbo is disabled and/or EIST is enabled. Leave the Long and Short Duration Package Power Limit to Auto to start, as those tweaks are depending on the quality of each CPU.

You have some speedstep, so your problem is really getting to the turbo mode.
You have the X99_PlatformPlugin.kext installed ?

I have a question concerning getting into the installer of 10.11.4. Currently I am using the Asus X99-E WS with a 5820K. I am stuck at the Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport message, after which I get the prohibited sign. I disabled all my USB 3.0 ports and use USB 2.0 ports for the USB stick and keyboard. Any suggestions on how to get past this message? Any special kexts I need besides VoodooTSCSync (with 11 as IPCPUNumber), FakeSMC and NullCPUPowerManagement?

You are getting a kernel panic, first thing to do is use the boot flag -v which means verbose and will show system messages during boot so you can see info about the kenel panic. Post the info that's displayed.

X99 wasn't installed - tried again with X99 installed in Clover/10.11 - CPU still maxes at only 3.3GHZ won't go higher, however power stepping is working.
