BTW, did you test the new options I added for using AppleBacklight.kext instead of IntelBacklight.kext?
 
Heya guys,

I just noticed that my audio and incorporated microphone 3,5mm jack isn't working.
With my 850 G1 it did work perfectly, but now with my 850 G1 it seems it doesn't :(

I think you mean "but now with my 850 G2 it seems it doesn't"

Is it a combo jack?
What part of the jack is not working? Input (extmic)? or output (headphones)?

I have an ALC280 set here that Mirone modified for the combo jack. I could put it in a separate branch for testing, if you're willing to try it.

Lol indeed ... stupid me ;)

Both don't work it seems, when using TeamSpeak the audio and microphone tests use the internal one, instead of the external connected thru the jack.

Try the 'alc280combo' branch.

To switch to it:

cd ~/Projects/probook.git
git stash
git pull
git checkout alc280combo

Then, to build/install the updated AppleHDA:

rm -r AppleHDA_ProBook.kext
make

That should also build the updated SSDTs (SSDT-8x0-G2-Broadwell.aml is changed to do some special things with CodecCommander.kext)... which you can install in the normal way:

make install_850g2_broadwell

The update AppleHDA_ProBook.kext can be installed with:
Code: 
make install_hda

Then reboot and see what happens...

Microphone now seems to work through external jack, headphone still doesn't.
But it detects both as external, so that is good!

I tried also a headphone cable (2 pairs instead of 3 as with microphone), but that did't gave sound either, also detected well ... microphone was then using the onboard.

Did you rebuild cache as per post #1?
Did you do an EC reset?

And... to clarify when you plug your headset in, audio is still routed through the laptop speakers even though it detects the headphones in SysPrefs->Sound.

And just to make sure... you don't have the HDMI device selected as audio out, right?

Yup rebuild without caches i've done.
No idea what an EC reset is, sorry :(
