Hi!

Just finished my first osx86 build followed the guild http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...ing-5-matx-build-i7-5930k-gtx-970-clover.html and big thanks to Kduvernay.

But when I followed the same steps and tried to install Hackintosh on Asrock x99e-itx with 5930k I got stuck on the "Erp Timer is not specified Defaulting to 0x3840".

Here is the place where it was frozen.

The Boot Args I used was: -v npci=0x3000 kext-dev-mode=1 nv_disable=1

Please help!

If your Asrock board has a serial port, try disabling it in bios.

Hey kduvernay,

Unfortunately, the motherboard Asrock x99e-itx doesn't have a serial port. But it does have 2 usb3.1 ports. Will that be the problem?

Thanks for the GA-X99M guide again.

did this get resolved?

Hi, I didn't use clover. I used unibeast/multibeast option and I was able to have the x99e-itx/ac up and running fine.
Check my thread (2nd page)

BTW, I needed npci=0x2000 on my x99e-itx/ac
You may want to check that perhaps (I used unibeast, not clover anyways)

Also, I found no way to run my gtx 970 with the usb unibeast intaller stick.
I needed to do the initial installation with another video card (gt 430) and once I got to my Yosemite screen, I installed the nvidia web drivers and changed the card (with the boot option nvda_drv=1)
Once i got in Yosemite with the gtx 970, I selected web drivers from the nvidia app, and then, I didn't need to use the nvda_drv=1 option anymore.
