Hey guys
i've just tried to install Yosemite by using Unibeast. But everytime I tried to, I get a kernel panic. I've already used the following boot flags but they doesn't change anything: -v -x
Please help me!

Update your build's hardware details under Profile > Basic Information section in the below format (Profile link is available on the upper right side of this website)

System : Motherboard + BIOS Version + Bootloader (Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU : Detailed CPU Model
Graphics : All Graphics Devices

For Example,
System : GA-Z97X-UD5H (F9F) (CLOVER)
CPU : Intel Core i7-4790K
Graphics : Intel HD 4600/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980

Post a clear photo of the kernel panic screen after booting with flag -v

Your installation/booting stuck with deadbeef error

Include bootflag "maxmem=Value" while booting.

*Replace Value with the 1/4[SUP]th[/SUP] value of the total installed RAM Size.

Eg:- If you have 16GB RAM Installed then use as "maxmem=4096"

If that is also resulting in the same Kernel Panic. Then boot with the flag "-no-zp"

Good Luck..!

Thank you for your quick reply. But both flags (maxmem=2048 ; -no-zp) end this way: 20150426_110011.jpg

Seems like graphics issue.

Connect monitor to DVI/HDMI port without converters.

Then try booting with "dart=0 -no-zp -f -v -x"

Is there a different possibilty which I can try first? I don't want to buy a DVI cable if I'm not sure that it will work fine with that.;)

Any way you have to arrange it. Intel VGA not at all supported on Yosemite as the Apple's devices are not using VGA connection.

OK. Is it also possible to plug a VGA TO HDMI converter into my motherboard's HDMI port and plug my normal vga cable into this? Because my monitor doesn't have any hdmi ports.

There is no support for VGA on Yosemite. If you are using converter it may work, but i am not sure on it.

If it is working also later on it may lead to graphics related issues like black screen while booting.
