GA-H61M-S2PV ethernet problems

have installed yosemite all went quite smoothly

used unibeast 5 over the top of mavericks (ethernet worked fine following an upgrade from snow leopard)

i have version 2.0 gigabyte GA-H61M-S2PV which means i have ethernet of realtek RTL 8111e

i have tried all 3 drivers on multibeast 7.01 and none of them work for me

does anyone have any ideas or similar issue

(sound doesnt work either but not a major issue for me for now)

anybody know if 10.9.5 AppleACPIPlatform.kext will solve this??

as yosemite is running fine apart from my ethernet and audio for now(cant check app store etc yet)

can i reinstall mavericks over the top of yosemite?

my system worked on mavericks and use my time machine backups to go back to exactly how it was before

You can wipe your drive and reinstall mavs if you want to. AtherosL1c kext worked for me on my h61 board.

now for my sound

According to Gigabyte's website it's ALC887 for that board.

I've spent a lot of time banging my head against the wall trying different line out options when I should've selected Internal Speakers - also (!!!!) yosemite defaults to no blips noises when you hit the volume buttons [play feedback when volume is changed] - that took me some time thinking it wasn't working when in fact it was a checkbox.

Sorry if that's not much help, but it's so often the little things that trip me up!
