Hi guys, having a bit of a problem with a vanilla install...can anyone shine some light on this?
Spec:
Motherboard - Asus Maximus Extreme
Memory - 2x1GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3
Processor - e6300 Core2Duo
Problem:
Installed 10.6 fine from retail as per the instructions, then upgraded to 10.6.5. I am able to boot up fine, but hit a stumbling block after running multi beast. Without adding any extra kexts, and simply choosing easybeast results in a kernel panic upon reboot. Can anyone suggest what I need to do to get around this? It doesn't kp if I dont install easybeast. I'm currently on iPad so can't upload a screenshot...but will do when I'm at a computer. The last five lines under verbose mode are:
Waiting fornDSMOS...
Previous Shutdown Cause: 0
NVDANV40HAL loaded and registered
DSMOS has arrived
ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin: :start - waitForService(resourceMatching(AppleCPUPowerManagement) timed out.
Thanks
