Keyboard and Mouse not recognized -need Urgent help

Hi there ,
I did exactly as the guide and I've gotten to the installation step but some how it does not recognize my keyboard and mouse .
Please help me to get through this .

hi there are they USB as ps2 are not any good till you get to multibeast to inject alterations to enable them to work

No it's not USB ,but Is any type of usb keyboard and mouse will do the job .
